SpectralBands // Zero-Data Privacy Policy#
At SpectralBands, we believe that your signal intelligence is your business. Our application is designed with a strict “Zero-Data” philosophy.
1. No Data Collection#
SpectralBands does not collect, store, or transmit any personally identifiable information (PII). We do not track your location, your device identity, or your frequency history.
2. Local Storage Only#
All user preferences, including:
- Server Bookmarks
- Frequency Registry
- Last Connected Frequency and Gain Settings
Are stored locally on your device via UserDefaults. This data is never uploaded to any external server and remains under your exclusive control.
3. Network Usage#
The application requires network access solely to connect to the SDR servers (WebSDR or rtl_tcp) that you specify.
- We do not use third-party analytics or tracking SDKs.
- We do not serve real-world advertisements (all in-app “ads” are fictional, local artistic assets).
4. Data Sharing#
Since we collect no data, we have nothing to share, sell, or disclose to third parties.
